Printing and distributing educational materials inside China.

How The Zakat Foundation Has Responded

The Zakat Foundation of America has been operating primarily in the northwest areas of China, mostly in the Gansu province which contains some of the oldest Muslim communities in all of China.
The ancient Great Wall of China has its western end and runs through much of the Gansu province. Many archaeologists refer to Gansu as the cradle of Chinese civilization, how fitting that it was also the beginning of Islamic propagation in China.

Fu-Xing School
The construction of this Muslim run high school was a labor of love and hard work of the community there. This is the best high School to exist in the Gansu province and we continue to grow with over 100 students in 2005 and nearly 200 in 2006.
Click here to read a letter to ZF from the Principal of Fu-Xing Senior High School.
As the Principal outlined; there is still work to be done in expanding and meeting the need of the community through this school. Please contribute generously to this source of Sadaqa Jariyah.
