There is an old expression which states “Reach up as high as you can, and God will reach down all the way.” For many across the world who are severely injured from war, disaster or debilitating illness the simple act of reaching out is a near impossible task. It is for these people that Zakat Foundation is now begging sponsorship of the kind of ongoing aid required to make their lives at ease.
This program of love entitled “The Hand of Mercy” challenges those who are capable to take on the responsibility for an individual who needs specialized care.

The Zakat Foundation will use its resources and experience to find the best and most affordable care while our beloved donor will supply the financial means to complete the chain of hope. Or in some cases, ZF can provide all the information to a donor who could then deal directly with the sponsored person.

Sometimes these acts are simple, such as an electric wheelchair for a disabled man so that he can care for his four young children. Perhaps the need is ongoing such as a young baby whose life-giving medical treatments cost $300 monthly. Possibly the need is one that touches the very heart of us such as children badly burned from the earthquake in Pakistan who need surgery to prevent a lifetime of anguish from their injuries.
Whether the need is simple or complex, it is the duty of all those who fear and obey Allah (SWT) to care for those who cannot help themselves. For these people whose very lives hang on the edge of despair, we implore those who can to provide hope and love through the acts of charity to make life worth living again.
Please contact us today to find out how you can provide for these people in desperate need or to ask about other cases of dire need.
